(Last Updated On: April 9, 2023)

There is no doubt that Canva is becoming a powerhouse of creative tools. In fact, this amazing platform offers a plethora of design options, from t-shirt designs, infographics, and presentations, to ebook covers.

And the best part?

Canva provides professionally designed templates that you can easily customize to create stunning and professional designs in just a few minutes.

That’s right, Canva is a platform that aims to cater to both normal graphic enthusiasts and professionals.

That said, anyone can be a designer using this simple platform. And now anyone can easily create designs in multiple languages to reach an even wider audience or connect with international clients.

Yes, there is a new feature… translate.

And in this article, I want to show you how to translate your Canva design into multiple languages in just a few clicks.

How to Translate Your Canva Design

I understand that many readers of this article prefer a more visual explanation, so I have also created a video tutorial about this topic. If you wish, you can watch it below.

STEP 1: The translate feature is available for all users and can be used on Canva on your desktop or by using the official app.

If you haven’t already, log in to your account or create a new one with your email or Google or Microsoft account. Once you’re in, select the design you want to work on from the Projects tab.

STEP 2: Click on the Apps tab from the left sidebar.

STEP 6: Choose the language you want your design to be translated to from the list of options.

STEP 7: Get started by going to the Apply to page dropdown box and selecting the page you need to be translated. Remember, Canva can only translate one page at a time.

STEP 8: Once you’ve selected the desired page, click on Translate.

Voila! Canva will keep your original design intact and create a copy in the new language of your choosing.

How to Translate Your Canva Design on Android and iPhone

Because Canva has also an app, you can get access to this tool on your Android or iPhone phone.

STEP 1: First things first, open up the Canva app on your phone and navigate to the design that you want to translate.

STEP 2: Once you’ve got it opened, tap on the + button in the bottom-left corner of the app.

STEP 3: Now swipe left on the bottom toolbar until you see the Translate option, and tap on it.

STEP 4: When the Translate module appears, make sure to select the Automatically Detect option in the Translate From dropdown menu – this will ensure that you get an accurate translation.

STEP 5: Once you’ve chosen the language for your design, click the Translate To dropdown box to pick from over 100 languages supported by Canva!

STEP 6: To translate the design, choose the page you want to translate from the Apply to Page dropdown box.

Please note: You can only translate content page-by-page; for every page that needs to be translated, make sure to complete this step again.

STEP 7: When it’s time to get your design translated, all you have to do is tap the Translate button at the bottom and Canva will take care of everything. The final product will be identical to your original but with the newly translated text included.

Conclusion

Canva supports over 100 languages, allowing you to switch between different languages and still maintain the original design and text of your work.

In other words, the new translated design is created as a copy of the original, so you always get two designs: the original and the copy.

Here Are Some of My Favorite Tools For Print-on-demand

DESIGNS: For getting started, I like Kittl. It is a fantastic place with highly professional templates, that can be edited and used for print-on-demand. In my opinion, it is a go-to place for any person, who wants to make money with POD.

Another of my favorites is Creative Fabrica. They have millions of cheap graphics that can elevate your t-shirt design. If you are not the most skillful designer, then try Placeit or Vexels. These are platforms, where you can find thousands of pre-made t-shirt designs you can easily edit and publish on any print-on-demand platform. I recommend Placeit for beginners and after you get some sales move to Vexels.

I also use a platform called Simplified, which is an all-in-one tool that combines an AI writer, design editor, video editor, and social content planner into one simple platform. I love it. Just like Canva, Simplified has a free version, so you can try it here.

FREE DESIGNS: I love Canva. I’m using this platform almost every day. With Canva, you can create stunning t-shirt designs, they already have an entire section, where you can make your artwork from scratch or use some pre-made templates and edit them. Canva comes with two main pricing plans: FREE and PRO. And if you are a beginner, then I recommend the free plan, it should be enough for you.

SELL YOUR ART – Start selling your graphics, vectors, or photography on Wirestock to save time and make more money. Its Wirestock Program allows you to submit to multiple stock agencies and marketplaces in a single click. It is currently partnered with Shutterstock, Adobe, Alamy, Dreamstime, Pond5, and Depositphotos. Get a FREE account.

SELLING LOW-CONTENT BOOKS – Selling low-content and no-content books on Amazon can be a great way to boost your online income. Im using Book Bolt to do the research, get pre-made interiors, and create covers. And you can try the platform for free.

Take your POD business to the next level. If you are serious about selling your designs on t-shirts, mugs, and other products, you need to sell them on the biggest marketplaces like Etsy or Amazon. You should also sell for the best prices through on-demand fulfillment companies like Printul or Printify.
