Step-by-Step Guide to Changing Capitalization in Canva

Step 1: Open Your Canva Project

Open Canva and head to your design. If you don’t have one yet, go ahead and create a new one.

Step 2: Add or Select Your Text

• If you haven’t added text yet, go to the Text tool on the left side of the screen.
• Choose from Heading, Subheading, or Body text depending on what you need.
• Click and drag the text type onto your design.
• If you already have text, simply click on it to select it.

Step 3: Find the Capitalization Button

Now, let’s change that text case!

• Look at the toolbar above your design (that row of buttons that lets you change fonts, sizes, and colors).
• Find the uppercase button (it usually looks like a small “Tt” icon).
• Click it once, and boom! Your text switches between lowercase, UPPERCASE, and normal capitalization.
