Have you ever heard of Printify and Shopify?
If you’re into e-commerce or just love to shop online, chances are you’ve come across one or both of these platforms.
But are they the same company?
That’s what we’re here to explore today.
Table of Contents
What Are Printify and Shopify?

First off, let’s start with a quick rundown of what each platform does.
Printify is a print-on-demand service that allows users to create and sell custom products with their own designs, such as t-shirts, mugs, and more.
It’s a great option for those looking to start their own online store without having to worry about inventory or fulfillment.
Shopify, on the other hand, is an e-commerce platform that allows users to set up their own online store and sell products.
It’s a complete solution for anyone looking to start their own business, with features like payment processing, inventory management, and marketing tools.
Are Printify and Shopify the Same Company?
So, are Printify and Shopify the same company?
The short answer is no, they are not. While both platforms are geared towards helping people sell products online, they offer different services and are separate entities.
That being said, Printify does integrate with Shopify, which means that if you have a Shopify store, you can easily add Printify products to your inventory and sell them through your Shopify store.
This is a great option for those who want to offer custom products as part of their online store, as it allows them to take advantage of the features and functionality of both platforms.
Is Printify Owned by Shopify?

No, Printify is not owned by Shopify. While Shopify has made an investment in Printify, there are two different companies.
While Printify does integrate with the Shopify platform and allows users to sell its products through their Shopify stores, the two companies are separate entities.
Printify is a print-on-demand service that allows users to create and sell custom products with their own designs, while Shopify is an e-commerce platform that provides everything needed to set up and run an online store.
Bottom Line
In summary, Printify and Shopify are not the same company, but they do work together to help people sell products online.
Whether you’re looking to start your own business from scratch or just want to add some custom products to your existing store, these platforms can be a great resource.
Happy selling!

Here Are Some of My Favorite Tools For Print-on-demand
DESIGNS: For getting started, I like Kittl. It is a fantastic place with highly professional templates, that can be edited and used for print-on-demand. In my opinion, it is a go-to place for anyone who wants to make money with POD.
Another of my favorites is Creative Fabrica. They have millions of cheap graphics that can elevate your t-shirt design. If you are not the most skillful designer, then try Placeit or Vexels. These are platforms, where you can find thousands of pre-made t-shirt designs you can easily edit and publish on any print-on-demand platform. I recommend Placeit for beginners and after you get some sales move to Vexels.
GET UNLIMITED DIGITAL ASSETS – Envato Elements is a subscription-based digital assets platform that provides a wide range of digital assets. Whether you’re in need of fonts, stock videos, photos, motion graphics, mock-ups, overlays, or brushes – you name it – Envato Elements is likely to have it. It’s your one-stop service for all types of creative resources.
SELLING GRAPHIC DESIGNS – Freepik makes it simple to get your design in front of a huge audience of paying customers. It’s a set-it-and-forget-it source of passive income. The earnings per download may seem small, but they can compound into decent money over time. And they are also accepting AI designs. Try it for free.
SELLING LOW-CONTENT BOOKS – Selling low-content and no-content books on Amazon can be a great way to boost your online income. I’m using Book Bolt to do the research, get pre-made interiors, and create covers. And you can try the platform for free.
Take your POD business to the next level. If you are serious about selling your designs on t-shirts, mugs, and other products, you need to sell them on the most significant marketplaces like Etsy or Amazon. It would be best if you also sold for the best prices through on-demand fulfillment companies like Printul or Printify.
